A Little Background on Why Solar Sun Solutions Was Created
Solar Sun Solutions was established in 2021 to meet the urgent demand for reliable, efficient, and professional solar energy solutions in the Western Cape and Gauteng.
With South Africa’s energy crisis growing and businesses and homeowners seeking alternatives, we saw the need for a company that could deliver tailored, compliant, and high-performance solar systems — from residential and commercial setups to large-scale mega plant installations.
Driven by a passion for sustainability and backed by technical expertise, we set out to build a company that puts quality, safety, and client satisfaction first.
Today, Solar Sun Solutions proudly serves clients across both provinces with custom solutions designed to reduce costs, boost energy independence, and build a brighter, greener future.
Johan (Basie) Rorich
Johan is the CEO of the company and did his training as a Millwright at Yskor Pretoria. He also received his National N6 Diploma in Electrical Engineering at Pretoria West Technical College.
After Yskor, he worked at Cullinan Refractories for 5 years as an Instrument Technician.
In 1995 he started his own Electrical Company, which has an established market share and has grown into the solar, generator and maintenance sphere.
